Cabinet painting & countertops - serving homeowners across Canada info@endyhomes.com

Custom kitchen cabinets - Canada

A kitchen built to your walls, not to a catalogue.

When the layout has to change - walls moving, an island going in, ceilings taken advantage of - painting is not enough. Endy Homes designs, builds and installs Canadian-made cabinetry sized to your room, so every gap, corner and appliance opening is planned instead of patched.

You get free design support, a fixed written quote, factory-built boxes in weeks rather than months, and one crew that handles demolition, installation and finishing. No middleman, no showroom markup.

The short answer

  • Choose custom cabinets when the layout changes, when your kitchen has awkward walls or ceiling heights, or when the existing boxes are water-damaged or falling apart.
  • Choose cabinet painting instead if the layout works and the boxes are solid - it costs roughly a third as much and takes about a week.
  • A typical Canadian custom kitchen runs 3-5 weeks from approved design to installed kitchen, because the boxes are factory-built rather than site-made.
  • Plywood boxes with soft-close, full-extension dovetail drawers are the upgrade worth paying for - they outlast the finish on the doors.

Double shaker

A second inner frame line. Slightly more traditional, and it reads well in deeper colours.

Slab / flat panel

Slab / flat panel

V-groove

V-groove

A grooved centre panel with a cottage feel. Popular in white, sage and deep navy.

Beaded panel

Beaded panel

A fine bead around the inner frame. The most decorative profile we stock.

Raised panel

A classic profile with a stepped centre panel, at home in traditional and transitional kitchens.

What we build

Everything in the room, not just the kitchen run

One cabinetmaker, one finish, one crew - so the pantry matches the island and the laundry matches the kitchen.

01

Base & wall cabinets

The full kitchen run in any width, including filler-free ends and scribed finishing panels.

02

Islands & peninsulas

Seating overhangs, panelled backs, hidden outlets and drawer banks built into the island.

03

Tall pantries

Floor-to-ceiling storage with roll-out shelves so nothing is lost at the back.

04

Appliance panels

Integrated fridge and dishwasher panels so the appliances disappear into the run.

05

Bathroom vanities

Matching vanities and linen towers in the same door style and finish as the kitchen.

06

Laundry & mudroom

Utility cabinetry, bench seating, hooks and cubbies built to the same standard.

07

Built-ins & millwork

Media walls, home offices, window seats and bookcases finished to match.

08

Custom sizes

Odd walls, sloped ceilings and old houses that are not square - all measured and built to fit.

How it works

From first sketch to finished kitchen

Five stages, and you know the price before anything is built.

01

Free design consultation

We look at how you actually use the kitchen, take rough dimensions and talk through layout options - at no cost and with no obligation.

02

Measure & 3D layout

A precise site measure, then a 3D drawing so you can see the kitchen before a single box is built.

03

Fixed written quote

Cabinetry, hardware, panels, installation and disposal - itemised. The number does not move unless you change the design.

04

Factory build

Boxes and doors are built and sprayed in a controlled shop, which is why the finish is even and the timeline is short.

05

Demolition & installation

We remove the old kitchen, install the new one level and square, fit hardware and hand it back clean.

Budget

What drives the cost of a custom kitchen?

Two kitchens the same size can differ by twenty thousand dollars. These are the six things that move the number.

01

Linear feet of cabinetry

The single biggest driver. More run, more boxes, more doors - the price scales almost directly with it.

02

Build level

Furniture board, plywood or all-plywood with dovetail drawers. This is where "cheap kitchen" and "forever kitchen" separate.

03

Door style & finish

A slab door in stock white is the least expensive route. Beaded profiles and custom colours add machining and spray time.

04

Decorative details

Ceiling-height uppers, crown, light rail, panelled island backs and integrated appliance panels each add material and labour.

05

Storage hardware

Pull-outs, corner solutions, cutlery systems and waste units are the easiest place to add - or save - a few thousand dollars.

06

Demolition & site conditions

Old kitchen removal, disposal, plumbing and electrical moves, out-of-square walls and stair or elevator access.

Why Endy Homes

Factory-direct, installed by our own crew

01

Factory-direct pricing

You are not paying for a showroom floor or a designer commission. The saving goes into the boxes and the hardware.

02

Canadian-made cabinetry

Built here, not shipped in a container. That is why the lead time is weeks rather than months, and why replacement parts are easy.

03

Free design service

Layout, 3D drawing and material selection at no cost, before you commit to anything.

04

One crew, start to finish

Design, build, demolition, installation and finishing all under one contract - so there is nobody to point at if something needs fixing.

Questions

Custom kitchen questions, answered straight

Should I paint my cabinets or replace them?

Paint if the layout works and the boxes are solid - it costs roughly a third as much and takes about a week. Replace if you are changing the layout, the boxes are water-damaged or swollen, or the cabinets are too shallow or too short to be worth refinishing.

How long does a custom kitchen take?

Typically 3-5 weeks from approved design to installed kitchen. Design and measure take a few days, factory build takes two to three weeks, and installation is usually three to five days on site.

How much does a custom kitchen cost in Canada?

It comes down to linear feet, build level, door style, decorative details and storage hardware. A modest galley in a Good build sits at the bottom of the range; a large island kitchen in all-plywood with full storage sits at the top. Our online estimator gives you a realistic band in about a minute.

What is the difference between Good, Better and Best?

Good uses furniture-board boxes with standard hardware. Better uses plywood boxes with soft-close doors and drawers. Best is all-plywood with dovetail, full-extension, soft-close drawers. The doors can look identical across all three - the difference is what happens over ten years of use.

Do you handle plumbing and electrical?

We coordinate with your licensed plumber and electrician and schedule around them. Cabinet-related work - panels, fillers, appliance openings and cutouts - is ours.

Can you match cabinets to a kitchen I already have?

Usually yes, for additions like an island, a pantry or a laundry run. We spray to a matched colour, though on older cabinets the sheen and any yellowing will differ slightly.

Do I need to be out of the house?

No. The kitchen is out of use for the install days, so most clients set up a temporary kettle-and-microwave station. We contain dust and clean up daily.

Do you supply countertops too?

Yes. Quartz, granite, marble, porcelain and quartzite are fabricated and installed by us, templated once the new cabinets are set and level.

What warranty comes with the cabinets?

Manufacturer warranties cover the cabinetry and hardware, and we back our own installation. Everything is confirmed in writing on your quote.

Can you work with contractors and property managers?

Yes - trade pricing, repeatable specifications and scheduled delivery for multi-unit and rental turnover projects.

What if my walls are not square?

Old Canadian houses rarely are. That is exactly what scribe panels, custom fillers and a site measure are for - the finished run looks straight even when the wall is not.

Is the free design really free?

Yes. Consultation, layout, 3D drawing and a written quote cost you nothing and carry no obligation.

Reviews

What homeowners say

They finished in four days and the kitchen looks like it came out of a showroom. Not a single drop of paint anywhere it should not be.

Priya S.

We were quoted a huge amount for new cabinets. Endy Homes did it for a fraction and honestly I cannot tell the difference.

Daniel R.

The colour consult was worth it on its own. They sprayed three samples on our own door before we picked.

Megan T.

Clean, on time, polite crew. Two years on and the finish still looks the day it was sprayed.
